Sounds designed for inclusion in Raro, a 12-channel sculptural sound-installation premiered on 11.07.11 as part of the 2011 Costa Rican Biennial at the Galeria Nacional in San José, Costa Rica. Each sculpture contained two channels of audio intended to be played repeat and shuffle, blending field recordings, synthesized sounds and silence in an ever-changing mix reflecting the relationships between culture, nature and mutation. For the sake of demonstration, the silent tracks were not included with these examples.
