Sounds designed for inclusion in Raro, an immersive, sculptural sound-installation premiered on 01.15.13 as part of the 2013 Bienal Artes Visuales de Istmo Centroamericano at the Museo de Arte Contemporaneo in Panama City, Panama. Each sculpture contained various types of sensors designed to trigger internal sounds, blending field recordings, synthesized sounds and silence in an ever-changing mix reflecting the relationships between culture, nature and mutation. For the sake of demonstration, the silent tracks were not included with these examples.
